EDITORIAL par Estelle Mironesco
The SRI market is picking up pace: recent Novethic research showed a hefty 70% volume growth in the French market in 2009. Investors are also fine-tuning and taking their expertise one step further, and SRI is opening up to new asset classes.
Vigeo is mindful of these developments and is resolved to furnishing clients with outstanding service. It has therefore decided to expand and enhance its SRI research offering –consolidated under the Vigeo rating banner. You can read about our latest innovations in this newsletter.

Vigeo creates two new business brands
Since its creation, Vigeo’s overriding strategy has been to fully and better meet the diverse and increasingly stringent demands of its clients. We consistently meet this challenge by focusing on a vision of social responsibility and sustainable development that is shared by market players with sometimes different, often opposing, but always inseparable interests: companies, investors, asset managers, workplace trade unions and NGOs. Our goal is a passionate and demanding one that requires unstinting observation, listening, anticipation and innovation skills.
Vigeo’s values inspired the creation of two brands to identify and carve out even more clearly each of its businesses and services, and define their underlying philosophies. Vigeo rating – The way to responsible investment is the banner for our ISR products and services destined for investors and asset managers. Vigeo enterprise – The way to responsible management defines our role in helping companies and organizations move towards responsible performance.
