The practice of lobbying at European level: Pascal Canfin shares his experience including insights of the launch of Finance Watch - 18/11/2011
On October 21, 2011, Mr. Pascal Canfin, Green party MEP, held a conference in Paris in front of auditors and analysts from Vigeo on "the practice of lobbying at European level".
After having described the consultation and decision processes between the European institutions, he shared his personal experience and the principles he follows in terms of lobbyists contacts. Mr. Canfin lists on his blog all his meetings with representatives of interest.
Pascal Canfin has also been involved in the implementation of Finance Watch, an organization launched in June 2011 with the objective to develop expertise on financial matters and to help renewing the debate on European finance.
