Our SRI analysts divide matters according to the following stages:

Steps 1 to 3: Sector related setting of rating parameters
Each criterion is activated in relation to its sector relevance and is given a coefficient representing the relative consideration of objectives and CSR stakes for each sector.
The companies under review are informed of the research procedure and invited to send all relevant information.
Steps 4 to 6: Multi-source data collection and analysis
The analyst collects data published by the company and its stakeholders, along with the data necessary to set up our questionnaire (media, database, Internet, etc.).
He or she is assisted by our Information Department which provides internal IT monitoring using powerful research and reference tools for all companies, sectors and topics covered by the analysts.
All information is entered into a database.
Step 7: Dialogue with the company
In cases where insufficient, imprecise or conflicting data are collected to the extent where an opinion cannot be formulated, the analyst sends the company a set of additional targeted questions. Stakeholders are also consulted if necessary.
Step 8: Rating
Next, the analyst assigns scores for every angle of analysis, and then, by means of successive consolidations, scores for every criterion and domain.
Steps 9 to 12: Drawing up feedback report
At the end of the analysis process, the company has 10 to 15 days in which to formulate its observations and provide any final additional information. Depending on its relevance and admissibility, this information may or may not affect the opinion formulated by the analyst in his or her pre-report.
Steps 13 to 15: Sector rating
For each sector, the scores obtained by each company are then converted into ratings:
| Rating | Significance |
|---|
| - - | The least advanced companies in the sector
| | - | Companies below the sector average | | = | Companies with an average performance in the sector | + | Active companies | + + | The most committed companies in the sector | |
